PRV8T Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to PRV8T (“PRV8T”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the PRV8T application and related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PRV8T is a privacy-focused messaging platform that enables users to communicate through user-generated identifiers and other privacy-enhancing features.

The Service may include features such as:

  • One-to-one messaging

  • User profiles

  • QR code-based connections

  • Nearby or temporary communication features

  • Media sharing

  • Other communication tools introduced from time to time

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least thirteen (13) years of age, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

By using PRV8T, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

  • Impersonate another person or organization.

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate other users.

  • Send spam, unsolicited communications, or fraudulent content.

  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful software.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks.

  • Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities.

You are solely responsible for the content you send, receive, or share through the Service.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and devices. You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.

6. Message Security and Encryption

PRV8T implements security measures designed to protect communications and data transmitted through the Service. Data transmitted between the application and PRV8T infrastructure is protected using industry-standard security technologies and encrypted communication channels where applicable.

Messages and related communication data stored within PRV8T’s infrastructure may be protected using encryption mechanisms at rest to help safeguard information against unauthorized access to stored data. PRV8T does not currently provide end-to-end encryption for user communications. Accordingly, messages are not encrypted in a manner that guarantees exclusive access by the sender and intended recipient.

Users should not assume that PRV8T operates a zero-knowledge architecture or that PRV8T is technically incapable of accessing message content. While PRV8T employs reasonable security measures to protect user information, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or communication can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are encouraged not to transmit highly sensitive, confidential, financial, medical, legal, or other critical information through the Service unless they are comfortable with the associated risks of electronic communications.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content, messages, images, media, and materials that you create, upload, transmit, or share through the Service. PRV8T does not claim ownership of your content. You grant PRV8T a limited license solely as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the Service.

8. Prohibited Content

You must not use the Service to create, transmit, store, or distribute content that:

  • Is unlawful or fraudulent.

  • Promotes violence or criminal activity.

  • Contains child exploitation material.

  • Infringes intellectual property rights.

  • Contains malicious code or harmful software.

  • Harasses, threatens, or abuses individuals.

  • Violates applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to investigate and remove content that violates these Terms.

9. Reporting and Enforcement

Users may report suspected violations of these Terms through mechanisms provided within the Service. We may investigate reports and take appropriate action, including:

  • Warning users.

  • Restricting functionality.

  • Suspending accounts.

  • Permanently terminating accounts.

  • Reporting unlawful activities to relevant authorities where required by law.

10. Availability of Service

PRV8T is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted.

  • The Service will be error-free.

  • Messages will always be delivered successfully.

  • Data will never be lost or corrupted.

Maintenance, updates, technical failures, or external factors may affect availability.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may utilize third-party infrastructure, services, software, or platforms to provide functionality. These third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. PRV8T is not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services.

12. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, branding, designs, software, and materials associated with PRV8T remain the property of PRV8T or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the Service except as permitted by law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

PRV8T disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Non-infringement

  • Availability

  • Security

  • Reliability

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PRV8T, its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from:

  • Use of the Service

  • Inability to use the Service

  • Unauthorized access to accounts

  • Data loss

  • Service interruptions

  • Third-party actions

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PRV8T and its affiliates, officers, employees, and representatives from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service.

  • Your violation of these Terms.

  • Your violation of any law or third-party rights.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms.

  • Your use creates legal, operational, or security risks.

  • We are required to do so by law.

Termination does not limit any rights or remedies available to PRV8T.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be published within the Service or on our website.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brunei Darussalam.
